UFOs captured in heavy contrail weather photos

UFOs captured in heavy contrail weather photos refer to a walk through Odense city centre with my camera on September 18, 2009. That resulted in four photos showing the sky streaked with aviation contrails on a massive scale. What I didn’t know was that in two of the photos, three UFOs were seen hovering above the town.

The reason I took these photos was to show the severe visual pollution of the sky above the city. I love a blue sky with normal clouds, and I’m a bit saddened by this mess in the sky.

However, the photos also captured other things in the sky, including three UFOs. These aren’t sensational UFO photos, but the objects are just big enough in the picture that I’ve decided to include them here.

UFOs captured in heavy contrail weather photos

The three UFOs I captured in the heavy contrail weather photos can best be described as a disc-shaped object, a spherical object, and a small white UFO. In one photo, a disc is seen hovering in front of a contrail. In the next photo, taken 14 seconds later, the disc is gone, but now a spherical UFO and a small white object are seen.

Whether the disc and the sphere are the same or two different objects is difficult to conclude. The object, which appears to be disc-shaped in the first image, may have rotated in the meantime and subsequently come to resemble a sphere in the next.

The disc-shaped UFO

The disc-shaped UFO is not visible in the first two photos, taken at 09:46:54 am and 09:47:02 am. But suddenly it is visible in the third photograph, taken at 09:47:18 am. I have deliberately chosen not to adjust the white balance of the photo, as this made the subject less clear.

The picture below has been magnified to the limit, and the Auto Tone filter in Photoshop was used to make the object more distinct.

After applying the Auto Tone filter, you cannot rely on the colours, as they are not realistic. But the Auto Tone filter is good for drawing up weak signals in a picture. The dark gray disc-shaped UFO is now black in the middle, with a reddish gradient that ends up in a yellowish, undefined “substance” around the hull.

The image clearly shows that there is an object present, and it appears to be disc-shaped. Around the disc, there appears to be a more fluid shape, represented by the yellow colour.

As far as I can see, the yellow area around the object doesn’t have a definite shape but is more like a mist. It looks as if it’s mist rising up around it and emanating from the object.

The spherical UFO

The spherical UFO that was seen in the fourth and last photo replaced the disc-shaped object from the third photo, which has now disappeared. There could be a possibility that the spherical UFO is the disc-shaped object. Maybe it has simply flown further away and perhaps rotated? A disc-shaped object can, of course, look like a sphere in the distance if it’s positioned just right in the sky.

Here, too, I chose not to adjust the white balance so the subject wouldn’t look too faint or drowned in white. The two lines in the picture are wires from a traffic light.

The picture below has been magnified to the limit and filtered with Calculations (Linear Burn) in Photoshop. As you may be able to make out, there is a faint hint of light mist around the object. It is not only a dark spherical UFO; there is something around it, but it can be difficult to see.

These small objects, like the spherical UFO in the above picture, aren’t easy to deal with. But if you examine them closely, you can clearly see their unique profile. In this case, it’s not just a small spot. But I have a better example in another post I wrote about a group of unknown objects captured in a photo recently on May 23, 2026. In this article, there is a small object (the small UFO), and here the mist around it is pretty clear.

The small white UFO

The small white UFO is very tiny in the photo. I don’t want to get myself into a lengthy analysis here, but I simply link to the pictures below. The small object is found to the far left in the DSC03986.JPG photo.
