Shape-shifting UFO sighting in Denmark (2010) ~ My UFO Photos

Shape-shifting UFO sighting in Denmark in 2010 was coincidentally captured on camera during the photography of an aviation contrail. This rare sighting documents a shape-shifting unidentified flying object undergoing a dramatic structural transformation as it maneuvers through the sky. I saw the anomaly in the distance and immediately assumed it was a small Cessna-type aircraft and continued the photography without paying attention. I had a real UFO sighting but was not fully aware of the anomalous phenomenon in front of me. Fortunately, I got the shape-shifting UFO immortalized in five photos anyway.

This sighting happened out of my west-facing apartment window in the morning on April 12, 2010, at 6.50 am local time in Denmark. I was interested in an aviation contrail visible in a northern direction. The rising Sun provided a nice contrast to the contrail, which caused me to take several photos while the anomaly above passed by.

Shape-shifting UFO assumed to be a Cessna-type aircraft

When I first discovered the shape-shifting UFO, I did not expect anything strange. Instead, I immediately assumed it to be a regular Cessna-type single-engine aircraft. I remember seeing it fly while taking the photos. It was moving slowly with a slight increase in altitude, exactly as you would expect with a small aircraft seen at a distance. It’s hard to give a qualified estimate of the distance, but I think it’s around 700-900 meters.

At one point, it looked like it turned a little bit. A reflection of sunlight and a shadow moved slowly over the fuselage. It was a calm and constant movement. It showed no birdlike behavior such as flapping wings. I heard no sound from the supposed aircraft, which I did not expect because of the distance.

Based on the visual observation, the UFO sighting, which didn´t ring a bell, I shifted my focus away from the supposed “aircraft”. Instead, I drew my attention to the aviation contrail alone. Fortunately, the shape-shifting UFO was in the same direction as the contrail and was included in five photos.

The following five sequential photos with the shape-shifting UFO rotating were taken only 2 seconds apart. As you will see, the anomaly is shape-shifting from one picture to the next, changing its physical profile against the sky. And it also seems to be rotating around its own axis. Given that it was believed to be a small aircraft, it is strange to find that this “aircraft” behaves as it does in the photos below. The five pictures have been processed with an automated contrast filter and given some brightness adjustments.

The shape-shifting UFO rotates from a horizontal alignment to an angle of around 80 degrees counterclockwise, and it all happens in 8 seconds. And the black “wings” or “pontoons” or what it is on this anomalous object seem retracted in two images and spread out in the other three.

UFO sighting photos reveal a bird or an aircraft?

Do the UFO sighting photos above reveal a bird or maybe an aircraft? Well, the very first image (1) above has a shape that could resemble a bird. But it is a “bird” with unusual colors. A completely white, beige-colored body and completely black “wings” are not something you easily find among bird species. The bird that comes closest to a white body and black wings is the American Osprey. But I think that image 4 above destroys that assumption, because the “wings” here look more like pontoons than actual bird wings.

And the UFO sighting photos above do not really resemble an aircraft either. The black part of the anomalous flying object, the “wings” or “pontoons”, is both retracted and spread out. And this changing feature happens within seconds. Some aircraft can retract and change their wing shape during flight. Among them are Grumman F-14 Tomcat, General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark, Rockwell B-1B Lancer, and the Russian Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23. But none of them can retract and spread out their wings in only 2 seconds (I think), as the anomaly in the five images above does. All these aircraft types mentioned here are military aircraft that would have made a deafening noise. And there was silence under this UFO sighting.

UFO intentionally disguised as an aircraft (or bird)?

If this shape-shifting UFO was intentionally disguised as an aircraft (or bird) to fool possible observers, will probably remain unanswered forever. Maybe the strange object here just looks the way it does without any misleading intent? But there are cases where UFOs seem to resemble an aircraft. Case 71468 from MUFON seems to confirm that. A South Carolina witness recalled an encounter in 1972 in which the object appeared to be disguised as a single-engine airplane. Read more about that here

At some point, I think the anomalous flying object in image 2 resembles the Saqqara Bird or comes close to it. The Saqqara Bird was found in 1898 in a tomb at Saqqara, Egypt. It dates back to about 200 BCE. But that must be my wildest imagination.

Shape-shifting anomaly is non-terrestrial?

There is no terrestrial vessel I know that can be compared with this shape-shifting anomaly. I cannot draw any parallels to any known earthly machine capable of flying. And I have never seen any terrestrial aircraft do what the anomaly does here. I believe this is a non-terrestrial object because it is too odd and too strange. And it does not resemble something we are used to seeing in the sky. If it is of extraterrestrial origin, I don´t know. Actually, I have no clue what I am looking at. I have to pinch myself in the arm each time I look at this strange shape-shifting UFO.

The UFO sighting flightpath illustration below shows the 10-second sighting, now documented with photos. I tried as hard as I could to construct the flight path of the anomaly as precisely as possible. The illustration also shows the contrail I was photographing as the UFO passed in front of it.
