I was wondering if this is high-altitude Cirrus strands, but the clouds on top of the strands look more like ordinary low-altitude Cumulus clouds. Could this be precipitation from Cumulus clouds that delivers rainfall (or snow) high in the sky? No matter what’s going on meteorologically here, it’s a beautiful sight.
